I graduated with my master's in Middle School Math and Science Teaching from the University of Houston last year.
I believe in inquiry-based and constructivist learning. The students need to discover for themselves to retain what they have learned. I am not perfect in those styles of teaching, but I am working on it.
I am married to my high school sweetheart who is a high school speech and debate coach. We have a 5 year old daughter and a 2 year old son who we absolutely adore.
In my free time, I like to plan lessons (for real), read, scrapbook, watch television (Netflix is my hero), and play board games with my family.
Hello! I love the mini units with lesson plans for 5th grade you have in your free resources page. I looked at your TPT store but didn't see anymore. Do you have any more I can purchase?
ReplyDeleteI purchased the two step inequalities task cards from TPT. I don't see the correct answer for card #5. Please contact me at tonyaking@nelsd.org.
ReplyDeleteTask card #8 has grammatical error.
ReplyDeleteOn card #23, choice C should say "than" instead of "that". Also, if you say "no more than" that would be less than OR EQUAL TO 75, not just less than.
ReplyDeleteOn card #27, I disagree with your answer. Because we had to divide by a -2, the direction of the inequality should have flipped.
